God, don't you love it how too much drinking can make your mood swings twice as hard? Sorry if I freaked anyone out last night ^^()

But today is a HAPPY DAY. As of 3:30pm, on this August the 28th, my boyfriend Mike and I will have been together for four years. It's amazing how time flies when someone is having a good time.

Our Meeting (don't read if you don't want to...it's a little long)
We met four years ago (me a junior, him a sophomore) in our Japanese Language and Culture class. He went to a different school, so this was our only class together. He admitted that he had a crush on me from the very first day (said he couldn't take his eyes off me...so cute!) However, I was oblivious and dated someone else. However, we still became pretty good friends. Our group would pick on him all day, even going as far to stealing his shoes and hiding them in the girls bathroom. Those were good times.

Unfortunatley, the year came to an end and we said our goodbyes, exchanged phone numbers and such.

Sometime went by....I was running an errand and realized I was by his house, so I randomly popped in. He seemed happy, so I called and came over a bit more. There were two get togethers for the whole group...and during the first one I noticed my feelings for him were growing. I could tell because we hugged for awhile when I was getting dropped off back home. Since I was still in a relationship, I shyed away again and didn't contact him for awhile. Then my relationship at the time began to turn sour (emotional and mental abuse) and I went back to hang out with him more to really see if my feelings were as solid as I thought they were.

I broke up with my ex, waited for Mike to clear any affairs he had going, and we became official on today, four years ago. Unfortunatly, our group didn't agree with our relationship (sans two)and the group split. As sad/hurt as I was by thier behavoir, I still wonder about them from time to time and hope they are happy with whatever they are doing.

We've had our ups and downs (mainly my libido being high and his not so much), but I love him for him. The topic of marriage has been popping up lately, so that makes me very very happy. (not until after I graduate of course.)

I plan on making my gift. It will be late, but he said he didn't mind. I plan on drawing our history together and laying it out like a photo album, from the day we met up to the present. I will post it here when it's done.
